Karen Chenette (who once lost a game of “GO” to Stanislaw Ulam and studied mathematical logic with Rolf Shock Award recipient Jaakko Hintikka) is a software visionary with 20+ years of experience in mission critical rich data applications and analytics. Her work experience includes providing key contributions in enterprise application integration, distributed objects, document management and retrieval, process management, group workflow, collaboration and business intelligence while working for Sun/Forte, Versant, Netscape and Verity.
Steve King is a software designer with deep experience in integrating social media, publishing systems, knowledge management, analytics, workflow automation, and mobile. He deployed several of the early StackExchange sites and has designed / deployed over 30 knowledge exchanges since then. Among more than a hundred published articles and columns, his recent writings include a paper on the Spiraplex strategy for social /technical project complexity (published in: Storytelling and the Future of Organizations, Routledge, 2011). Steve provides technology consulting, market planning and product positioning for Microsoft, Intel, HP, IBM, Cisco, AMD, Motorola, Gateway, McGraw-Hill, CMP, and Ziff-Davis. John Newcomb has a 20+ year background of business, marketing, web design and development consulting on a wide-range of projects including new product launches, internal restructuring, content management systems and eBusiness applications. John’s knowledge of overall system architecture and cutting edge design has allowed him to develop, manage, program and implement multi-million dollar systems for a variety of industries. Jack Marshall is a talented and highly creative graphic and web designer living in the Washington, DC area. He creates web and multimedia designs that unite aesthetics and functionality, which can affect the emotions and attitudes of audiences in a positive way. In his project work, Jack has client service responsibilities that focus on visual design, art direction, account management and market research in diverse fields. Jack communicates both on and off-site with clients and regularly conducts planning, design and management meetings.
